Desktop Background/Wallpaper
Re: Desktop Background/Wallpaper
Mt. Hood, nice!
We get aurora displays fairly frequently up here on the northern border. We also get other cool weather phenomena that makes good wall paper. Various atmospheric effects that play with the light... But sometimes I just like something a little bigger and more exotic...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Did you light the tent? Or was that in the 2000-something edition?beatlefreak wrote:Wasn't there for the original. Went up for the 25th Anniversary - Had a great time.
Thanks (if anyone wants it in 1280x800 I could upload it to my ISP's homepage and link to it) I like landscapes as well. Great cactusflower shot there, btw! I love good close-ups of flowers as well! Somehow I only tend to take pictures of both on Crete or the alps... something not quite right in taking a landscape picture in Holland... it's simply plain ugly around here!doctorwho wrote:Nice picture, Werner ... I am fond of landscapes.

I think that's why the Dutch are such great travelers. There's not a lot of Nature to see at home, eh?Wildberry wrote:... something not quite right in taking a landscape picture in Holland... it's simply plain ugly around here!

Be glad you only live in The Netherlands, Werner. There are worse places my friend, like the state of Kansas, USA. Trust me. I've been living here for 38 years.Wildberry wrote:If it's alive the dutch government will cut or mow it down or have it shot - I hate this placekiramdear wrote:I think that's why the Dutch are such great travelers.
