ha ha ha you gang are despicable!!!!
I just packed up the car and am ready to depart Columbia, SC. There are not as many pretty leaves on the trees this year, but I still had a great time with Jwilli at the Flying Saucer (great beers), and then breakfast at Lizard's Thicket this morning.
At LT, I was brave and ordered Country Liver Pudding, "South Carolina Low Country Style." I've never even had liver before, so it was an adventure. It was delicious. John, you have to sneak me the recipe!!! It was kind of a peppery meaty ricey mash thing. Again, delicious.
I'm going to piddle around town for a bit, grab some postcards and send some mail I've been neglecting, then it's on to Raleigh, NC.
Oh yeah, I got a couple tracks down this morning for the solo album. Holiday Inn, Columbia Airport, Room 121 has a surprisingly good sound! I'll post some pics of the makeshift recording studio and vocal booth (it's hilarious) later this week.
Thanks for the kind words, everyone. See you down the road!

thanks Dr. Bob.
And I'm in Raleigh.
JK - I got your message, I've been trying to call you... as far as I know we're still on!
PS - If you ever need to buy postcards in columbia, go stragiht to the airport first, rather than check a half dozen gas stations and drug stores. Apparently no one else in town sells them!!!!!

Believe it or not, but back in May, I stayed in that same hotel and my room number was one twenty something.
