Thanks to everyone for their good wishes!
It was a fine day with a small get-together of friends in the evening, with a small buffet dinner.
We all listened to one of the gifts--a vinyl copy of Elvis Costello's newest album: "Secret, Profane, and Sugarcane", a great acoustic effort with an occasional banjo.
