When I was gigging mine back in the mid '70s I used a Hiwatt 120 with a HiWatt Slave (again a 120 I think), each through a pair of Marshall 4x12s. That gives a sound to die for, or at least go deaf by.

Now that I'm a lot older, only have to fill a small room and have more respect for my ears I use a Peavey Classic 30 - totally unmodded. I also use a Fender Princeton 112 Plus - this has a JBL 15" in it as the 12 blew itself apart pretty early on.

The Ric an Peavey go well together. I discovered the Peavey by accident, I was looking for a very clean sound to go with my ES 175 and was looking at a Roland or even an acoustic amp. To get the best out of the Fender and the Ric I use a Sansamp in the line but that's because I want to introduce some bite, as it can sound over clean and bright

Another corker of a guitar. Truly beautiful Scotty. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

My main amps are 1996 Vox AC-15 reissue, '93 Peavey Classic 30 and about 10 Rick amps (lol). Sounds are great thru all.
