We also need one to describe someone who's always sneaking in a picture of their FG, you know, the old "you mean like THIS ONE ??" routine.

I'll call that :

(9) "FireGlo Intrusion" : The act of always trampling on another's thread with a picture of THEIR FireGlo. This is equivalent to the old game of "one-up-manship". This is really just an example of "FireGlo Grandstanding" or "FireGlo Callousness".

Overall I’m sensing some Fireglo Envy, a lack of Fireglo Etiquette (not calling someone else’s Fireglo "pink" or "clown" or "girl or Stacey or her or Jane - that's not my name, that's not my name") and a whiff of Fireglo-Hypo (a pompous inability to accept that someone else may not agree with THEIR Fireglo hypothesis).

Oh and add Fireglo correctionists who change FireGlo to Fireglo.

Hello fellow Ric enthusiasts,

The time has come for me to address an issue that has been eating away at me for some time. It involves the evolution of the FireGlo finish, and the sometimes boorish and insensitive attitude with which some people seem to approach this very sensitive topic. You see, most of us have a FireGlo guitar or bass, and, as we know, the shade of the FireGlo finish varies all over the place, from era to era, year to year, and instrument to instrument.

Let's give credit (or blame...) where it's due--with the painters.

There used to be a guy there who reminded me of Turturro's character (Jesus Quintana) in Lebowski. He had a sort of ballet thing going whenever there was anybody checking out the spray area. I'm convinced "ClownGlo" was his invention.

But Eric--he's brought the whole thing full-circle and given us color and application that future generations will covet. A "Fireglo Golden Age", as it were.

Not to mention DCM, the awesome new MID and JGs, too.
