Douchebagism is a sad disease, and what's worse is that in this economy there is little funding left for research to help pull people back from the edge. I just had a similar experience. All kinds of inquiries, then 'what's the serial no?' I gave a bogus number, then 'thats not the model I'm looking for.' Somehow all the detailed descriptions I gave were inadequate in explaining it was a bass... Don't know what the scam is, but some jackwagon is collecting serial numbers.
