I thought the movie was "OK", but I mostly liked the music. Scott's band had a a cool LoFi garage punk pop thing going.

This also reminds me of a T-shirt I saw where Chuck Norris' face was placed over Smokey The Bear's and read: "Only Chuck Norris Can Prevent Forest Fires".

That's actually a good point. I was having a discussion with a couple of vegie-terrians one night at a party, and after all their BS about how unhealthy red meat was and all that, I said look, if you're a creationist, then God made half the teeth in your mouth for eating meat. If you're an evolutionist, then we evolved the same teeth for the same reason. That must have been a revelation for one of the guys, 'cause ate his first burger in years that night.

Nobody in this thread is slamming meat eaters so I don't see what the sense is in actually going after vegetarians and/or vegans; the movie wasn't trying to make any statement on the subject (in my opinion), other than it's annoying when ANYONE gets on a high horse about how great their lifestyle is.
So that people know I don't have a dog in this fight, I eat meat in relatively small amounts but on a regular basis... people often ask me if I'm vegetarian, but it's only because the meat doesn't make an appearance extremely often in what I order out or bring from home. So at work my alleged "red-blooded American" friends and my conservative Hindu friends both find me a bit strange. The rest of the folks who are from China couldn't care less either way.
Anyways, this doesn't seem like a good topic for RRF discussion in the first place.

It just seemed like the usual thread drift. At least marginally more interesting that the usual "congrats on the bass" or "just do it".
