Not sure if my vote counts, cause its a bass...but I voted.
The only new RIC I have severe GAS for is a 4004cii.
I do have some hopes of a new 4003FL, but I'm thinking of the possibility of a 4004cii FL. It just kills me, the thought of having a brand new bass sent in for fret removal, but the more I play, the more and more feel myself going in this direction.

Re: POLL : What will your next Rickenbacker purchase be?
It's pretty hard from a basic business standpoint to consider something new when capacity is pushed to the limit producing for current orders, with at least 18 months of backlog currently.
What benefit would be derived from a successful new product, if it just pushes the wait to 2 years or more?
This would be different if we used one of the bottomless capacity factories in China that have no off switch, so maybe this poll would have some validity if you were talking about Fenders or Epiphones.
If and when the production catches up with orders, we have plenty of options and ideas for new gear; it'd be great fun to do them. But this is, after all, a business, so the fun has to take a back seat.

Didn't see my choice in the selections available.

I'd much rather ride a sidecar on a bicycle than have my mom acomany me with a girl, she just talks and talks.
Re: POLL : What will your next Rickenbacker purchase be?
You're probably right. The two of them would likely end up talking the whole time, making your being there thoroughly pointless. Better go find that sidecar...

Just ordered This, it should be coming soon, the Rick can wait!
I'm thinking about maybe putting a second cart on for my mom though, you know so they could talk.

Seems like a good movie!
Re: POLL : What will your next Rickenbacker purchase be?
The selections don't truly describe me as I would love to have a new or used 660/6 BBR and new 660/12 FG. So the new models DO interest me. But I am currently look for a Carl Wilson 6 or a 1997/6 FG re-issue. I also am on the lookout for a good 330 deal with a guitar that has some nicely figured wood to give to Jingle-Jangle to create a colorGlo not normally seen on a RIC.
More later after I knock off a bank.
