I read a great review on it in VG a while back. 8) Made me think about getting one, have you tried it with bass?
No I haven't! But what a great idea that will get fixed up this weekend. I'll have my bassist give it a run through this weekend. Dingwall Combustion->BAMO->Ampeg SVT3 Pro head and Bill Fitmaurice cabs. If I can I'll try to record it.

In my set-up I run it in "buffered" mode, as I have a wireless setup and a couple of pedals in front of it, however I do pull it off the board and run it in direct mode from time to time. This is a great set up for dynamics. Guitar->BAMO->amp. Backing the volume off 50% or backing of on the picking hand using the "brown" channel and it cleans up beautifully... full on volume and that fat creamy lead ton is there. Wonderful stuff. Check out Thaddeus Hogarth's demo on YouTube. It is a good representation of what I have achieved with it. Oz Noy does some nice stuff with it as well.

Never, ever drool on your surf shirt. It wrecks the solo.
