We have prior history on this one!

Yep, sadly Jeff....there is a precedent set on this sort of foolishness. :(

Hypothetically: John Lennon is still alive and buys this guitar. He 'Lennonizes' it.
Would that be ok?

Whats say Paul McCartney and Ringo team up to buy V109 and the Arden, and they make it look like their passed friends' guitars. Whats the deal then? Where is the line drawn?

What if Suzy Arden bought Harrison's guitar and 'Ardenized' it?
That would be some revenge!

Its just a guitar, I don't care who made it. The Beatles have contributed so much to the world. Alot more than just 2 guitars.

Rickenbacker influenced history by making the electric guitar, The Beatles Influenced music in itself. Only a fool would deny that. That's enough.

Sorry, but The Beatles aren't important enough to change history around or because of.

Yep. They're a boy band from northern England. Kinda like the One Direction of yesteryear, actually.

Any deeper than that and you're holding a glass of Kool-Aid.

Here are some additional photos of V109. She truly is a beauty. I agree that any non-reversible modification should ever be done to a vintage guitar. If I buy this one, she will stay as-is.

As far as I'm concerned, the thing could be painted dayglo pink - as long as someone is playing it on a daily basis. These things are made for using.

Then, of course, there's the folks that might try to "Harrisonize" it.
