Besides guitars, I have an obsession with small amp heads and crybabies as well

Rod, very impressive, wall of sound, that surely looks like a severe general music gear AS, from RAS to GAS right to disASter,
Do you have some like-minded people in Singapore, to let all these beauties shine and roar ?

A view from my computer chair, where I practice and work on charts. This is the rig for this week's gig: Lots of string bass, quite a bit of the fiver and a couple on the Ricky. I laugh and cry having the good fortune to play on these fine instruments! The gig includes talented musicians/friends and I'm very glad to be there.

Do I see Rufus Reid's book on the shelves?

I am looking forward to the day when we can see Gil's completed music room. 8)

If it's not in there it'd be on another shelf. I love those photos where he has the 'fro and leather vest, pushing his bass into an airplane seat. Did you ever see Rick Laird's book? I dont have it, but in it he has a great line about the schooling you need to make a living playing music..." Get a business degree!"

I have Rick's book, somewhere around here. I have not looked at it for a couple of decades as it has been packed up since moving back from L.A.!

After two years since the thread started, I finally cleaned up my playing area. I think it might be too clean...

It's so clean, you can't even see it!

the "wall of noise" as my Mrs. calls it.. not much, but 5 watts is enough to rattle a Single Wide  . Funny how in my youth I fell prey to the assumption of "BIGGER=LOUDER=BETTER" now days my wallet and my back are both glad I've been won over by 5 tube watts and an SM57. 8)
Good philosophy. I've gone the 10 watt route, 20 for the bass, just to keep up with the drums. Still get noise complaints from the neighbor! Ten watts in a medium sized practice space can make your ears bleed.

It's kind of a long story, but I'll summarize: All my gear was/is neatly packed away and cleaned top to bottom for an overnight guest, and everything was packed up. In order for a photoshoot, I'd have to pull select things out that I want to display and set it up to get it close to Erik's OP, which is probably one of the neatest music rooms ever! I've just been too lazy to do that...still lazy three weeks later

More embarrassing, a tight financial crunch got me down to one Ric (no Pete Townshend impressions this time  :P )...PM me for details if you want/care to know. The V64 will be making a token appearance...but what else, though?

Lots of great photos here, guys, keep 'em coming. I may have some *inspiration* for my eventual photo
