Kira, don't those back stairs on a house boat get a little damp, going down into the water ?
I could borrow our singer's scuba gear.

So, Rich, is it too early for a projection of the number of attendees? What do you think?

Hi Kira,

If you're getting a head count together, I'd like to be included. I live in the East Bay. I've got a couple of basses, both left handed, though one is without a treble pickup at the moment. I could bring an SWR Baby Blue combo, too. I'm an amateur, but won't get in the way. I promise. :)

Thanks!

Hi, Johnnie, you're very welcome to attend. No one is in the way at these things - we just come to have fun. :)

Listen, folks, I just had an idea. We can save quite a bit of money by making this a six-hour event instead of eight, say one o'clock till seven. How does that sound?

This way you could reserve the partying until the bar you go to after all the pizza and measuring and weighting the instruments are done, and commandeer the band that is playing there. 8)

Johnnie -- we welcome you to join in the fun at BARC ! Have added you to the RSVP list

Kira -- that's a good idea to go 6 hours, 1 PM to 7 PM. I remember I was sitting down the last hour or two of the BARC jam last time around, as I was running out of energy ... And that time span will help facilitate guys like Doug who have a drive back to the Santa Cruz mountains.

Hey all. Thanks! Looking forward to it. Feel free to PM me with details or anything else (songs you like to play at these things?). Hope I'm not the only southpaw. I will be, but here's hoping.

@Joey Johnnie Walker is with me wherever I go, but I can bring a brother. Your preference would be Black, right? If you're coming, bring some tools and a solder iron. PW's been busy. :D

side thought, the RIC colors match up with the Johnnie Walker line easily, save for Green (red, black, gold, blue = Ruby, JG, aged MG, Mid/Azure). Someone in Scotland should commission a run.

@Jeffrey I do not know a Rob Walker (also no relation to Mark Walker). I did grow up in your neck of the woods and most of my family is still in the Akron area. I get back there about once a year...mostly when it's greener.

I'd love to come. Just a small chance that I will, but I'll see what I can do to possibly make it.
Oh yeah, Johnnie Walker Black. 8)

If I can get my girlfriend to go with me I'll go, but it's right after finals and I won't have seen her for a week. I invited a couple of drummer friends also, from the FB event page.
