I've signed up for a small selection of songs, but if one has their heart set on a certain song and we're booked up, I'll gladly step aside to give that person their chance to play.
Joey: Good move on the second room, I plan to be hanging in there as well!

Same for me. I started the ball rolling by signing up for some songs, but if their is a song which someone really has their heart set on playing bass guitar, go for it.

Yeah -- I also put my name on several tunes, of a variety of artists, to likewise help get things rolling for the Mini SCARF, but will gladly step aside on any tunes, if we're booked up.
Just thinking about security for our instruments .... for the "second room" and the Jam room --- wondering if anyone has access to one of those
fancy rope things (?) they use for queues of people, at movie theatres and banks, etc., so we can temporarily fence off our little corner of the studio, from the main hallway and whatever other activities and people who are using other rooms at Backline Studio, that day ? ? If someone can borrow one of those "rope things" for the afternoon, and we stretch it across the hallway, it might help dissuade non-invited people from venturing back into our corner .....

We'll just have to go by the same policy as we did with the banquet room at the The Starting Gate...Never leave the second room completely unattended!
Dan-o's STOP sign might have a dual use for this event.

Triple use; club offenders over the head with the sign. . .

I'll sharpen the edges of the stop sign
I don't think we'll have a problem. I'm planning on being in the "show off you gear and hang out" room most of the day (that's what I do best!).
As in the past, We'll just have people register (Register? HA! Get it?) what they bring in to display, and what they take out.
:::Bring your own guitar stands and camera's and be prepared to discuss Rickenbacker models, Artists, and history in mind numbingly excruciating detail!:::
CAN'T WAIT

Let's just hope our proposed "security measures" for the gear at the Confluence will not be exposed and posted unscrupulously on
Wiki-Leaks beforehand

Everyone attending ---- Remember to bring sufficient Guitar and Bass stands ! !
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
And a reminder, there is a Jam sign-up sheet for songs ... to kind of assist in figuring out what songs that people might know in common, and potentially, less people asking "do you know such-and-such .... " Nothing is cast in concrete, but it sort of target songs and artists that people might enjoy playing
Feel free to sign up for something you like to play ....
