I seem to remember that Rickenbacker exported some Autumn-glo guitars to Rose-Morris, but I may be wrong. Well, whatever you want to call this model, I'd love to have one!

You are right, they did export some Autumnglo guitars to Rose Morris; but there were no Model 1993 12 strings in any other colour than Fireglo. According to the best available source (which is still the Richard Smith book published back in the '80's), there were a small number of Autumnglo guitars made and exported in 1966 only (i.e. after the model 1993 exports finished - they were only made in 1964 and 1965). According to Smith's numbers, the total number of Autumnglo guitars exported to Rose Morris in England in 1966 was 100 (made up of 25 model 1997 six strings, 50 model 1998 six strings, and 25 model 1999 bass guitars). I consider myself very fortunate to own one of the model 1997 guitars exported in 1966 (pictured below next to a 1967 model 1998/345S to illustrate the dramatic difference in colour versus a typical Fireglo).

Of course it's possible that Smith's numbers for Rose Morris exports to England are wrong (according to comments made previously by John Hall, it is definitely the case that the overall production numbers that Smith quoted for the '60's are significantly flawed), but that could only be confirmed one way or the other by the factory. Regardless, I've never seen any evidence that would suggest that original model 1993 guitars were ever painted in any colour other than Fireglo, or produced in any years other than 1964/5.

Well, perhaps the opposite of cold and snowy would be warm and sunny.

So, maybe something in the yellow or orange range...

Its winter in Ohio John, the last 2 days we had -40 and -30 wind chill values. New finish speculation is a nice diversion from the harsh reality of living in this part of the country.

That being said,,,,,,,,,,the opposite of snow would be water. So how about "Aqua glow"??
