Just sign up with a fake name, and don't upload photos of yourself or click on any ads. Use it in a mobile browser or on a computer instead of their awful app. Disable a few privacy settings. There are myriad online articles quickly showing how to do this. It's pretty easy. I don't get this facebook boycott. What you're asking would take over an hour. What I'm asking takes five minutes.

Yep. Having created a lot of YouTube content over the last couple of years (at least for a guy with a day job), I have a whole new respect for these career Youtubers. It's not nearly as easy as it looks, and they deserve every penny they're getting. I don't want to even guess at how many hours these took me: (off-topic warning)

Edit - does the youtube embedding not work anymore? I feel like I just recently told someone here how to do this, and now I can't do it. D'oh!
