Hey,I personally painted the 350 that Pat played at the 75th shindig,just because I was a longtime fan,since early 80's,and I wanted to do something sorta in return for the good music over the years.It was a personal thing for me,and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to give something back..Don't need my name in an album (CD?) jacket,just seeing that thing gettin' played on stage and having Pat thank me was more than enough..

Oh, much higher than the dBs. I honestly only know a handful of dBs material, and like it just fine, but from day one (hearing "Blood & Roses" around '86) the 'Reens struck a chord and have been a pretty big deal to me.
They've certainly had their ups and downs artistically, but when they're on (which is more often than not) they hit 'em out of the park.
It's pretty weird to get to be pals with one of your favorite bands. My story is not that unique, either - they've always been very, very accessible to fans. Look at Severo - he started out as a fan too, and now he's in the band! (He actually left a band of mine to join them full time, but that's another story.)
