At least with the reversed headstock you can easily recognize a V63 vs. a C64. Anyone know of any other easy to spot differences between the two models? Price doesn't count.

c64 and v63 are a little harder to tell apart other than the headstock. I believe the c64 has a satinised finish to the neck and body.

The c64cs is a lot easier to spot, it thas a zero fret, and the upper and lower horns are much more rounded.

Personally I don't like the over rounding, other than that I'd be quite happy to add a Fireglo c64 to my collection.

The first place you look when you see a 4001S - The treble pickup surround.

One is longer than the other.

The c64's pickguard is a bit transparent, you can see the body route through it, the v63's pickguard is opaque. v63's have a white nut, the c64's is black.
