Yep, a bit less "cosmetically challenged" than mine though Andrew Image

The V63 pickup was removed from ebay. It was there last night at $301. I wonder what happened.

It's been pulled due to some listing infringement. I will be VERY interested to find out exactly what the infringement is (I'm currently making enquiries; the only thing I can think of is it maybe should have said "New Old Stock" instead of "New" as the V63 pickup has been discontinued, but I think we're all bright enough to see past that!), and I'm also rather surprised if this is the case that it managed to last virtually the whole of the listing period without getting pulled. I am NOT happy!!! Hopefully this is a minor glitch and the item will be relisted.

Hiya Jim! Yep, you could say that!!! (although I won't relax until its in my grubby little hands Image)

Thanks once again for all your help BTW, you are truly a diamond!

And Ken, it probably is a new record, but I wanted it REAL bad...

And to think that a year after the V63 was discontinued it took me 8 months to sell a MG one in pristine condition. Then I had to drop my price to $950 for it to sell. Everyone wanted FG. Still a profit but if I waited a couple of years I could have parted it out for way more money.

Ken,they seem to currently be struggling on ebay UK actually, even now (relatively speaking of course). I have absolutely no idea why.

BTW, I could have taken the h/shoe out of my V63, kept it and sold the bass for less, but I just couldn't do it...

For that kinda money I may just sell the V63 horseshoe outta one of my basses. I actually like the sound of the HB1's a little better anyway. It's just that the horseshoe looks so cool.

I'd be interested in your v63 Horseshoe Dane. If you ever do decide you want to sell it, drop me an email.
