...but I must say I really dig having a Rick with walnut head wings.

A vintage TRC goes a long way to making it look good!
The Hipshot Ultralites don't hurt either!

Hey Joey - do you have any body shots of your 4004cii/5? I was wondering if the pickups are basic black or whether they have gold trim like the humbuckers on the 4 string model.

Here ya go Steve. No pickup mounting plate, not even a visible screw, which gives the front of the 4004/5Cii a very clean, neat and modern look.
The pickup mounting / height adjustment screws are in the back.

Very unusual heel shape...And those PU's look like the ones on Jeff R's 2020 that he just picked up! Jeff?

OMG I just checked into this thread. . . BBR is making me drool in a huge way. Those photos blow away both Rick's "stock" photo and the image at POTR. That is an amazing finish.

all the heels on the 4004 basses are shaped like that ... and those are dual rail humbuckers like the 90's 2000 basses had ... the strings go so close to the edge that it makes me wonder if the B and G strings go beyond the edge of the rails ... I would probably replace the nut and bridge to decrease string spacing a little ...
you know it is really a shame that Ric does not make a 5 string bass with single coil pickups ... that's why I like my 4003 4to5 basses ... they have stock 4003 pickups ... I just change them from 4 to 5 pole pieces ...

Gorgeous bass, Joey! Aren't Cheyenne IIs simple beautiful.
Your Cii5 reminds me somewhat of a 6-string Tobias Basic...

That Cheyenne is a beautiful piece of wood. I too love the clean lines and could be seriously tempted for a 5 string (with a high C for my preference) if only RIC would introduce a 24 fret model bass...
