Sergio, Sounds good, mapleglo is my fave ! Mind you I have got a deep need for the new Blueburst 4003, very nice indeed. As far your 21 fretter goes it will be interesting to hear what your thoughts on it are when you have completed it.

Ken, 6.0 K is correct for a late '60s HS pickup. What I meant to ask was whether the HS on your '67 sounded noticeably weak when plugged into an amplifier. I can fix you with any type of replacement pickup you like - hot, not-so-hot, resembling/not resembling a Rick one, exposed/concealed polepieces and so on. Just name your requirements.
I'm afraid I only have post-1973 saddles.
Keith:
Yes, Blueburst is indeed hot (cool) looking.
As to my new 21 fret 4001, well, it's bound to be a killer soundwise! I'll finish working on it by this coming monday or tuesday. You know, for a moment there I contemplated having it re-refinished in Purpleburst, but I've come to my senses. I'm not messing with a vintage 4001 that was professionally refinished in Mapleglo in the late '70s and looks great that way.
