beautiful coloring..... so the middle and neck pickups are wired in series and act as one?

Guys, it's imaginary--another one of my 10-minute Photoshop jobs. If you look closely, you'll notice that the middle pickup seems to be crooked. It's because it's the neck pickup, copied and pasted in place, without correcting the perspective.

Yes. Good one, and it also flies in the face of all your other recent photos. We should have suspected this.

I meant no deception. You'll notice, I asked what color Jeff's 381-12 was, so I could Photoshop it up. Then I thought "where is my head?", got out one of my own photos and photoshopped IT. So, very sorry if I made anybody feel foolish. Not my intent.

Almost all of my previous photos have been genuine; only the ones I did for Pappas and the "color exporation" ones were fakes, and I clearly stated so.

I can't imagine that I could feel any more foolish than I already am Paul. You did tip us off and I missed the cues.

Wooops...just came back to this thread and noticed my mistake. I typed one too many zeros! Sorry guys! I did mean 7400! Image Maybe John Hall will make a world's biggest guitar and put a 74000 ohm pickup on it. I bet that would sound like mud!

Foskett's 381 is Fireglo. It is pictured in b&w and color in the Smith book.

Thanks, Jeff. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I haven't got a copy of the Smith book. Must pick one up.
