Peter's guitar, if I remember rightly, is a one off that was done by Rickenbacker especially for him. I believe John Hall said that it was the kind of favour he was happy to do for a friend. A very nice gesture, if I do say so myself. At some point, Peter came up with a model designation for it. Can't remember what on earth it was, though.

David, if I'm not mistaken, Nick Thiel (the owner of Voxtalks) purchased Marty Willson-Piper's beautiful, one-off Ric. I sometimes regret NOT picking it up when it was offered to me. Of course, my 1997SPC/VB suits me fine.
Cheers, Noel

Noel, didn't you have a beautiful 340 MG with gold guards, oven knobs, vibrato, and toasters for sale recently? That was a beautiful guitar, too. If you've still got a photo, it would easily be worthy of a place in this thread.

I guess I'll air out the final photo of my MB 381, since a few haven't seen it yet. It is finished, with its final pickguard configuration and the staked Vib-Rola.
Hope I'm not stepping on the thread here.

Step right up Paul. That is truly beautiful. Love the nameplate and the Montezuma Brown finish. The oven knobs and the fifth knob are a great addition.

I'm still on a learning curve here, the first pic Noel put up, the two p/u with vibrato, isn't that a 335? I'm getting real confused. I'm going by Smiths book.

Stan: You are correct. A Model 335 it is.

Someone had posted something about a vibrato 340 and I thought that couldn't be...feel better now. Thanks, Peter
