I sure hope they don't sell for MSRP. That's basically a 4003 (albiet with a LE color & guards) for the same cost for a C64!

OUCH.

I have a feeling that with so many people scrambling to get so few of each model, the dealers feel they don't have to give a discount on them.

I just hope there's a couple of leftys available; say a 4003 or a 660.

Pics don't do this color justice..You have to see it in person to really appreciate it..The finish on that 4003 in the pic looks about 3 feet deep,as did the 650C that Slick played.

Will there be some of these on display at the 75th Eric? Wish I could be there, but at least there may be some good first-hand photos available afterwards.

Wonder if the 360 will come in both 6 and 12 string models...

(I don't need another 6 string Image )

Ha! Kaia you are right. Here's what I said at the time.

"And gold guards would look good with:

red + black = metallic black cherry

I hope that's the color that was the happy accident. It sounds great."

Funny how you can be so close and not see the wood for the trees.

Noel: I suspect that the 360 is a six string model.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I said the same but with tortise pg and trc, because I don't like gold! I still think the tortise shell look would be cool! Good job, Brian!

The more I think about it the more I realize that I would just love a 330 in that color.

It's stunning!

That sounds more than fair to me Eric.

Edit:

I have been looking back over this thread in some detail. Because I could not rationalize how I came up with the color. In fact Ethan Jones nailed the color when he posed a number of possibilities but did not mention the combination of gold guards. That's actually where I got the color description from.

Collectively, we are a sharp bunch! No denying that!
Sure wish we could win one of those babies!
