When I'd used the mute on the 4001FL, I'd also played with my thumb.

Well, for my last show I wanted a fretted instrument. With three people singing I just didn't want there to be any uncertainty about intonation, at any point during the night. Plus, a few of the newer parts I've been given to sing are a bit challenging. So yeah... the 2007 odd bird, with its maple headstock wings, made it back out. My old flame, maybe my new one as well. I got tons of "Awesome Geddy Lee guitar, man!"-esque comments immediately following the show. (Don't worry, I played it as a
bass...

)
