I'd like to find an early 73 4001 in walnut, it was available according to the color chart at Mike Parks website. Walnut with checkered binding would be very rare(for a 4001).
73 Feb 4001, 73 March 4001, 73 April 4001, 73 May 4001, 73 June 4001, 73 July 4001

No more walnuts? C'mon, guys, there's gotta be more out there. Those guitars are stunning...

It should look very familiar to you and Ron!

Nobody noticed my BB practice room! Actually, I just noticed its pretty close to the Blue Boy color today after seeing all those BBs in the thread covering them.

Ooh, ooh -- I only have one Rick so I'd better post it before I miss my chance. It's a 1978 4001 in Autumnglo. Here's my brunette:

And in action (no basses were harmed by my belt during the taking of this photo):

I think a nice pastel color would be appropriate this time, Paul!

Or have we done all of those already?

Time for a change. Another popular standard "color": Mapleglo! Maybe not a color, really, but one of the oldest Rick finishes there is. So, for the week of 6-12 April, post photos of your Mapleglo Ricks!
