Neat shots, Dan.

It is alway great to see these old photos. As much as I enjoyed the tone of the Casino, I have yet to play a reissue that has been an easy player. For those with vintage Casinos I would be interested in your opinion with regard to playability.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I've played 3. Two of them were 08's and one was an 06 I believe.admin wrote:It is alway great to see these old photos. I owned the )6 briefly and the neck was RIDICULOUSLY thin. I couldn't take it, my hand couldn't adjust.
One of the 08's I played had a big beefy neck, too much for me. it felt like they put a Dot Neck on a Casino.
The other was a in the middle. it was, dare I say... perfect!
Sunbusrt finish, Bigsby... Mmmmm....

I've been mulling over a '66 Gibson ES-330 for quite a while - almost identical to a Casino without the Beatle-inflated price tag.admin wrote:It is alway great to see these old photos. My Revolution Casino is about the best playing guitar I've ever.
Perfect neck for me. Thin-ish.
Those silly plastic things on the bridge take away some sustain, and to be absolutely perfect, a Bigsby would be in order.
Love P-90's.

No, I mean his shoes. I can't access my LP right now, but it's this photo:brammy wrote:You mean his socks?

Haven't studied it lately, but I'm sure this is one of the "Paul Is Dead clues" pictures, with red dots on and around his shoes, which he is not wearing.
I'll get back to you later after having a closer look at the LP booklet.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I prefer the thinner profile neck as well. The one Casino I have is anything but. Sounds like it's the luck of the draw with the neck profile when you buy one. Mine was an eBay deal so I had no chance to play it first. It sounds good, but I don't spend much time with it just because of the neck.shamustwin wrote:My Revolution Casino is about the best playing guitar I've ever.

I'm going to have to scan some of my scrapbook photo's. I have several that haven't been posted here yet. That might be a fun project.

Always ready to see more. I'm sure folks would like to see pix from your scrapbook, Brian, but probably would be more interested in Fab photos
