Yeah, and this is the only time I've found Dick Burke since. JH tells me that Dick would rather not be contacted. I'm told he has a wealth of knowledge of Rickenbacker production, so I hope I find him someday.

Okay, sort of getting back on track, some info on food.
The hotel restaurant has only lunch & dinner Monday through Friday. Dinner is 5 to 10 pm as is the bar.
Saturday and Sunday, the hotel restaurant has breakfast & dinner. Dinner is 5 to 10 pm as is the bar.
Other nearby restaurants: Spoons (basic American food) walking distance right up the block from the hotel. Good for breakfast & lunch.
There are several restaurants in the South Coast Plaza Mall, just mentioning a few:
The Claim Jumper, which I know some of you already got familiar with.
Maggiano's Italian Restaurant
Tejas South Western Grill (I have no idea how this one is).
There are fast food places like Subway and Del Taco nearby.
Of course there is an Outback Steakhouse in the area to make Darren and Aitch feel like they never left home!

There are also several more restaurants in the area.
Malone's Irish Pub is a bar that is very near the hotel.
There are free Shuttle rides to the South Coast Plaza Mall for hotel guests.
If we don't get to jam at night, we're at least gonna eat nice dinners.
Just to let you guys know in advance, I DON'T do Olive Garden!!
That's NOT Italian food!

Joey, y'know, we don't have Outback Steakhouse in Oz at all. We have the Outback. We have steak. We have outhouses. But no Outback Steakhouse.

JDog, you have a lot to answer for. I can't believe that you Americans are exporting that to us as well!
McDonalds, Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, even Cheesewizz!
Hey JDog, get yerself a transfer. I need more band members.
You'll keep too, Mr Scott!

Sorry Jdog, I didn't mean to remind you of work! LOL
Hey Darren, you want us to have some Fosters around for you? After all, "It's Australian for beer!!"

Joey, Fosters beer is our joke on the rest of the world. I have never, ever heard any Aussie say "I'll have a Fosters, thanks!"
Did you know you're quite the celebrity at the Aussie Outback Steakhouse? They've even named a menu after you.

JDog, could you please explain exactly how they serve the third burger down on this menu? It brings a whole new meaning to "double beef"
