Well, if you didn't think that was nice, check these out.
My DCM catching some rays.

Actually I think RIC should have named the finish Ever Changing Glow. Every time I look at it, it looks different. From Eggplant glow, to a really light shade of Burgundy Glow.
It's really hard to capture the metallic even in bright light.
Also no one has mentioned this before, but on the TRC, the letters have small lines running through them.
Very nice touch Paul!

Sorry, going back to my original post, I guess that does sound kind of arrogant. Especially with some of you on the fence with your dealers.
No offense.
I just want you guys and gals waiting to know that its worth the wait, and to give you hope.

Hey Scott,
No offense taken! I was just pull'en your leg!
Bob, WOW, that is some set of pictures!
What's the deal with the EARS, I thought you could make out the walnut ears, it doesn't look like you can see them on your's Bob. Is it just the lighting?

Scott,
Pic was really good, as was Bob's., I never saw anything to offend (well, you did take off the Pickup cover

) , and I doubt anyone else did either, and as Tony says we were / are / will continue to pull your leg.
Bob, you need to take some with the pool in the background, same as the 72, the blue will really make the Crimson Fireglo (my new name for it) jump out.

Jim, I will as soon as I open the pool in about 3 weeks. Crimson Fireglow is a great name for this one.
Tony, I can't see any wood through the finish, headstock or body.
Scott, I was wondering what the heck your where talking about myself. You said nothing arrogant, or offensive.
Great pic too.

I guess Im getting sensitive in my old age.
They are great guitars! Today was the first chance I had to get her out in full blown sunshine. You just cant capture the metalflake in a photo. Thats why the "standing above" photo, I was trying to capture the "flake". Its pretty much lost in the resizing process.
If anyone wants the larger image, please email me.

Oh, and by the way, you cannot see the walnut wings on mine either.
I believe Paul W. has the holy grail of this special run.
And as well he should.

Thanks for the update everyone...I just ASSUMED the ears were visible. No biggie, just that all this time I've really only seen pictures of Paul's #1.
Glad you are getting some quality time in with the DCM guys!
And by the way Scott, your outside shot IS fantastic.
Bob, what's this OPENING and CLOSING of the pool deal? When the water temp drops below 80%, we just don't use it until it WARMS up sometime in May!

There were three 4003 DCMs at the MARC today, belonging to Marc Seligman (yes, he unpacked it in front of onlookers, Russell Rubman (he unpacked his, too) and Elys Rand. All were consistent in color, lighter than the 330, 360, and 660 that were here. Gorgeous. Looking forward to picking up mine on Wednesday.
