Cool pic Alex. You can hardly tell that it's Raining BloodGlo under there.
What pedals you got?

Thanks!
Pedals.. Xotic compressor, fairfield circuitry barbershop and fairfield unpleasant surprise. A basic but varied setup, from nice grindy overdrive to over the top fuzzed out 8 bit crunch.

Lousy foto but it's the only one taken of me that night.

It's me "rocking" the 4002.

Told you it was a lousy foto!

Great to see you gigging with the 4002 Sepp, as I did last night with mine. Many people I know think I'm crazy for taking such an instrument out and playing it live but hell - that's exactly what they were made for!
Nice shots!

Ash,
Thanks buddy! I was worried about it but the real tight confines of my area meant I'd be very near it when I swapped out for my drop D tuned 4003. I pretty much had to use it. The first time I took her to practice and the guys heard her, they asked why on earth I had never brought her to practice before. The tone was that different. Even the drummer thought it was better than any other bass I had ever brought to practice!!
I'm having a 1977 Mapleglo 4002 resurrected by Larry Davis. It's my intention that that 4002 will be my constant gigging bass. The Walnut 4002 (former Dave Pascoe bass) is just too damn pretty to risk damage at a club.

Understood Sepp - the ceiling of the room I was playing in last night was pretty low so I was a little worried about catching the headstock on it when switching instruments (I use my 8-string live too).
Interestingly, our drummer passed very similar comments about (a) why he'd never seen the 4002 before, and (b) how great it sounded and how much it cut through to be heard.
Cheers
Ash

I've been playing the Bass a bit more often too. Got me a little Mark Bass combo that I'm really enjoying
(You can see it tucked away in the back - those yellow speakers are not subtle)
