Sure. I ordered it May or June of '82 and it came in around August or September. I have the receipt somewhere. They wouldn't ship it with a black pickguard and trc as white was standard so I ordered the black at the same time. a few months or so later I added the Bartolini and mini toggles and installed them with the black guard and trc. Interestingly, the serial number dates to 1981. Here's a rare pic with the original white plastic from November '82.

So cool that you've had the bass from new to now! It looks great with both color pickguards,and it's really interesting to see how much the finish has ambered over the years,i am hoping my '04 Cii will do the same. I guess since you've had it for over 30 years,you must really love it!

Yep, I do love it. It's gigged and recorded a lot and is still in great shape and the ambering makes it that much cooler.
