Tell me about it. I'll try and find a picture from one of the times we played the Tan Hill, England's highest pub. All 4 of us played in a space about 5 ft square.....I should probably move back to headless basses!

Short scale helps a bit!
Maybe this is the reason Kala U-Basses have gotten so popular (right in step with the trend towards longer scale, read LARGER, baritone guitars )?
Hmm...............

Hey, new member here - Thijs from the Netherlands! Figured my Rick isn't very common, so I'll post a pic here:
It's a 90's 2060, JetGlo

Wonderful shot! And you're right, not many 2060s out there! Wish I had that shot in the book!

Nice to see this being played out! I was just playing it's cousin last night, my 2030GF. I have not gigged with mine, yet, but did so with one that a friend owned years ago.
Welcome, Thijs!

I play in a garage-rock band, Sister Johnson. The stuff you find out there was recorded with a 70's 4001 (not mine, studio gear) or my '86 Fender P though. I bought this bass a month after recording. It's in our silly home-made clip though:
Just noticed there's only a couple register entries on this exact bass, and they also seem incorrect. I'll try to get some good shots, it's in great shape and 100% original (although I'm not sure about the case, since it's unmarked - which may be normal for the 2000 series? Fits like a glove).

That was quite enjoyable! Bravo!

My guess it's an original case then. The 2000's are pretty rare, I'd guess far fewer cases for them floating around than the 4000-4004 series. I'm not sure if the case I have for my 75 4001 is original, but it's certainly a Ric case, and is also unmarked. The newer SKB cases I have for my Laredo and my 650-Dakota have a Ric logo.
Wonderful looking bass. Welcome to the RRF!
