That's OK, Steve Image We've all done things in life that we regret later....

Mine was not buying more than just one 21-fretter 4001 back in early 1971 Image

Picked up this info at Club Lakers

The Lakers' Luke Walton will be signing autographs Tuesday at Joey's Smokin' BBQ, a Memphis-style barbeque restaurant that has opened its first Orange County location on the Tustin side of The Market Place.

The first 200 people in line at the event, which is 1-3 p.m., will get a free T-shirt.

Joey's Smokin' BBQ is owned and operated by Joey Maggiore and is based in Carlsbad. Walton and his brother, Chris Walton, are partners in the restaurant. Joey's is near the Edwards 6 Tustin at 2933 El Camino Real. The phone number is 714-544-4106. The Market Place is off the Santa Ana (5) Freeway and Jamboree Road in Irvine and Tustin.

Here's the directions to the Luke's BBQ joint. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=2933+El+Camino+Real+tustin&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=45.284089,82.265625&ie=UTF8&ll=33.721448,-117.78

Question: Is this Lakers side-show at Joey's Smokin BBQ an "official" SoCal Confluence event or is this an extra-curricular activity for those desiring the free Tee-shirt or getting a break from the main Confluence activities ?

I'm keeping a close eye on Dean. I sure hope he doesn't throw a monkey wrench into my plans.

Katrina hit New Orleans while the '05 SoCAl confluence was going on!

The latest on a place other than the hotel to jam is at Malone's Irish Pub. We could jam there from 6 pm to 9 pm, providing we brought the PA, amps and drum kit, if anyone is up for that. We would have to be off the stage by 9 pm. The girl that I spoke to at Malone's will give me a head's up if any bands performing after 9 pm cancel.

Rather than bring the SVT and the 4x10, I now have a portabass 250 with an Eminence Kappa 15 I am going to bring. If anyone thinks there is a need I can always fit the SVT in the truck, as well as have room to schlep equipment around, whilst there.
