Yep, Azureglo, although a special match. I'd give the props to Paul BTW. :D

Three new acoustics are winging their way to their owners this month. They are about as unique and different from each other as you could imagine. They range from a basic 730S with an iMix pickup and ambered light wood, without any shading on the top, sides, or back, too...well, you'll see!

First, the 730S/6:

Sharp-eyed members will note the owner's signature engraved on the pickguard's reverse side.

Second, a Honeyburst 700S/6, with shaded rosewood sides and back and slightly ambered binding. Yes, I know it looks almost like Fireglo, but the camera (not my usual SONY) gave me a lot of red; the color's very close to Peter's Honeyburst 350 in life. This one also has a checkerboard-bound headstock and the iMix dual-element pickup system fitted.

Last comes the most unique 700C I've done to date... deeply vintage ambered maple and spruce, tortoiseshell binding over checkerboard purfling, bound headstock, and crushed pearl fret markers. This is a very masculine-looking jumbo with a HUGE voice that should really come into its own as it ages a bit. It's very precise in its sound and playability, besides being a real head-turner!

More coming up by end of January, in addition to the usual paint and restoration projects. :D

Paul that 700S/6 is exactly what I would want if I were ever to be in a position to buy a Rickenbacker acoustic. I love it. :D
