Musicians Friends that is. Guitar Center? Horse of a different colour in my experience.
But I am looking forward to good things from MF.

Wow. This removes a lot of barriers, mostly having to do with import/export, that have bugged our Canadian friends for yonks.
Now, those of you guys who just HAVE to try it out before buying, can look at the very few in stock in the big city retailers, and the rest will order by mail, with MF's generous return policy being the safety valve.

I assume this means that customers will be ordering from stock.

Is L&M going to be in the picture John or have they been dropped? Just curious.

It would be a major aquisition, but maybe Guitar Centre is looking at a take over of L&M?

L & M are still Rickenbacker dealers- we've not made any changes in Canada other than restating that Musician's Friend can ship there. Our dealer agreement has been titled a "North American Dealer Agreement" for something like 20 years anyway.
I don't know anything specific about L & M and Guitar Center but who else has the resources to take over a large though aging company?

Thanks John,
The boys at L&M have been good to me over the years so I am happy to hear that they are still involved.
Well now the euphoria has subsided I am really glad that I have an account with Musicians Friends because hopefully I will be able go window shopping sometime in the near future. Who knows. Maybe I can use the line "honey! honest it just followed me home"
