I believe, and I'm not happy to report, that So. Central Rain was played on a Gretsch Country Gent.
Isn't that what Buck uses in the video?
The ears can be deceived.
I love the distorted Ric tones of Begin The Begin.
Cranked AC30, ProCo Rat, Ric 360...

So. Central Rain sounds like a RIC 12 to me.
Probably used Mitch Easters RIC 12.
Maybe Buck grabbed a Gent just for the video.

Howdy,
"You Can't Do That" by the Beatles! It's got a 12 AND a 6. Cool number, too!

Sixpence None the Richer: Their version of "Don't Dream It's Over." From the opening notes, the song has that unmistakable heavenly Ric chime.... Paired with Leigh Nash's incredible voice--Beautiful! I never get tired of listening to their "Divine Discontent" CD.

Howdy,
Is "Needles and Pinsah" by the Searchers a 330-6 string doubletracked? Beacuse it's not a 12 string..

Sorry, no Ricks on Behind Blue Eyes. Lovely Rick 12 on The Good's Gone, though.

Behind Blue Eyes would be Pete's old Gibson Jumbo acoustic and an orange Gretsch with Filtertrons, I believe.

The Beatles-You Can't Do That, I Call Your Name
The Byrds-Turn Turn Turn, Mr. Spaceman, 8 Miles High
The Smithereens-A Girl Like You (the crunch in that song could shame a Les Paul.....play a Rick through a distorted amp sometime and see if you can't get that sound.

Early Genesis! Supper's Ready, for one example.

Probably any early REM tune. Off the top of my head, FLowers of Guatemala.
Also most of the stuff from Rush's "Golden Age." IE Exit Stage Left era.
Byrds and Beats go without saying, obviously.
COme to think of it, that would be a cool name for a rick-based band: "The Birds and the Beats."
Bill Hughey - You definitely need to swing through NC sometime to catch some sessions - there's something going on in the middle of that state on any sunday afternoon you'd like.
