"One Man Woman"

"I Don't Like To Sleep Alone"

More drivel from the pride of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada...my hometown. Anka has a street named after him, up near the airport. We often would drive up there and dump our garbage; it seemed appropriate.

Maybe I just don't like singers named Paul.

You're OK I would think Paul. You can actually play your guitar, so you are probably exempt from Mick's new rule that he is just formulating about singers named Paul. Forum members are probably exempt period. Right Mick?

Naming a street after Anka is like naming an airport after John Wayne, or like all those streets in Palm Springs named after Packers, and the ones in Vegas named after Demi Moore and Elizabeth Berkeley, and, well, you know.

But Chicago refused to name a street after Nelson Algren, because the residents complained that it would cause confusion and they'd have to order new address labels from Lillian Vernon. So the street remains "Evergreen".

In Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, there's a Perry Como Ave. (He grew up there.) There's also a Bobby Vinton Way and A Four Coins Blvd. (It's a dead end.)

Er... are you aware of the colloquial meaning of the word 'yodel', Paul? I wouldn't want to 'chunder' in your lovely Saab, my friend!!
