For my 360th post I was going to post a picture of how I'm scraping the varnish off the bindings of my v64.
I forgot about it, but post nr 36whatever will do:



The varnish comes off rather easily, and I must say I'm very pleased with the result at this point.
The tricky part off course is not to scrape the varnish off the colour, but by cutting it slightly on the edges of the binding it breaks off at that place.

Wow! I'd NEVER attempt something like that! I guess the yellowing of the clear coat really did bother you a lot.

So what are you going to respray over it with?

They'll all be beige off factory then?
Or are you coming over to Belgium to kick my *ss for pretending to scrape varnish off bindings :o
