I think Mr. X's 4001 LH in Autumnglo with the black pickguard and TRC is the coolest.

John, Where have you seen that?

Oh and another thing, Jim Wallace must have run out of wallpaper when he was decorating his room because one wall was completely covered in vintage stacks instead of wallpaper, and full stacks at that! Marshall, Hiwatt, the list goes on....

The amps were the only things that were NOT left-handed. Image

Mr. X's Autumnglo 4001 has been shown here a few times. He has had it since he was 16. So what has it been now, 15 years Mr.X? You wish. Image

Anything I know about Mr.X other than his 4001 LH will remain classified..I can't reveal a thing or I will have to kill everyone in the room.....it's all secret agent stuff, I can say no more...

Here they come. I am telling you guys, that lefty collection is absolutely superb. I did not even care that I could not play them.

Yes, Peter (poor guy) was forced to wear the same clothes every day of the visit. The original plan was to fly in and fly back all in about 24 hours. So one change of clothing was apparently all he needed. He is (ahem) a lot more trim and fit that either of us so unfortunately we could not set him up out of our own wardrobes.

Somehow I missed this thread until today!

First off, congrats to Peter for such a great score!
I am not surprised at the way Ted and crew handled this situation. You guys are great and this just warms the heart to see forum members helping each other out....kudos to all involved!

This Mr.X thing is starting to get to me....Image

Super thread here! Peter, you could almost write a book about it. We'd all buy a copy.....as long as the type is big and had lots of color pics, ha ha!.

The most amazing part of the weekend was that both my wife and Mr. X's wife rolled with constantly changing plans and uncertainty let alone the unconventional way of celebrating Mr. X's birthday. The Wallaces are fantastic people. Both have hearts of gold.
