Maybe she helps her customers with price, which she knows is low. Then after the BIN is hit, she waits for people to send her e-mails offering more. She can then show the customer it sold for $1399, and she really sells it to another person for more and pockets the difference.
Ah! Now it sort of "makes sense". I mean, that's probably the "big idea"... but the number of items she's selling make me doubt it's a real thing...
