"....totally of topic... I just got the new Chili Peppers CD....nice."

I've been waiting to hear what it's like before I get it . . . is it as good as "By The Way"?

I actually didn't like Blood Sugar Sex Magik too much . . . I think I'm in the vast minority on that one, but I've always felt that "By The Way" was their most dynamic and creative music ever . . .

Either way, I found "Stadium Arcadium" for $17, and bought it. I'm ripping it to my computer as we speak.

I've been listening to Stadium Arcadium the past couple of weeks, I also think it's the Chili Peppers best since BSSM.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Ben, we promise not to call you that in August, at least I promise not to. That interview translation was pretty hilarious, nontheless.

I keep hearing people say they loved By The Way... I could never get my head around it.

The new record is great... almost makes me forget that last one. Image

Again I'm reading this list listening the the new RHCP CD's. Unfortunatly my wife and kids are sleeping, so it's 'down low.' So far I think this is a great CD. The entire band had mellowed a bit, and in some ways so have I. And to keep this on Rickenbacker topic, I wonder how much better they would be if Flea used a Ric? ;-)

I think I'm the only person who really liked "By The Way" . . . everyone else who I hear talk about it says it's a sellout record or a rehash of their old stuff, both of which I think are completely untrue . . . I dunno, the old Chili Peppers stuff just never did anything for me, whereas "By The Way" sounded amazing.

Having only listened to "Stadium Arcadium" once, I have to say it is very good. I think they could've dropped several tracks ("Slow Cheetah"), but there's some really awesome stuff on there. Especially the "Mars" CD.

And if Flea used a Ric, you can bet that the billions of "Flea is teh best basist evar!!!11" fans would be clamoring to buy Rickenbackers, and the factory would be overwhelmed.

I haven't tried that, do you mix it in with the toro root or just do it like sushi?
