It is an interesting idea Brian, however, in the interest of avoiding confusion between the Forums, I would tend to steer clear of this idea. It is, however, very creative and well thought out and your suggestion is appreciated. Keep them coming!

That was going to be my call too Brian!
A vintage looking TRC with the RickResource curving and forum underneath instead of "vintage".
Peter, given that the closeness of the two words could possibly at any time cause potential confusion, I can't see how this idea would be any more potentially confused to the original site, than any other suggestion with the words "RickResource" in it...
It would clearly spell RickResource, not Rickenbacker, and I would hope the vast majority of people here, including potential new browsers, would be able to differentiate between this site and the official one.

Nice one, Peter. Like, "plug in & get hooked"?

Andrew and Brian. Your point is well taken. There is nothing to stop either of you in submitting such a design.

Thanks for your support, Brian. I can put in a 4004LK in your honor. Actually, i can put in any model. I already tried it with JazzBo. But i won't post it here - more than enough of me, i am afraid.
Cool one, Mark.

I have an LK one in the works.....but I think that it isn't "standard Rickenbacker" enough to be a winner. I have an idea for something a little more general that may appeal to the masses that I'm working on as well. I just need the time to get them to look right.

Brian: You have plenty of time to get it right. I hope you don't have a devil of a time with the design.
