Hey Brian! Thanks!
Um, could you let Jessica know for me?

I specifically asked about 4004's and J.H. basically said that they wouldn't be included for obvious reasons. A 4004Cii with the special TRC and the limited paint would have served the purpose fine. The 75th emblem could have been put on the rear control cover if it was deemed necessary. Plus the gold hardware would have fit the theme well.

Yup, everybody's got their own idea what it shoulda been.
But I'll be really surprised if the 300 instruments take more than 4 hours to sell out and our biggest problem is fairly allocating them.

It's not my place to say what it should of been.....only what I wish it was. Like you said, they'll be gone uber quick!
Congrats on the company Anniversary BTW! (and many more)

John, are the 300 instruments already done and ready to ship? That would be too cool!

At least Mike Parks is getting a list out. Pity we can't access him from here in the UK.

Even though the offering isn't my cup o tea either, I'd like to congratulate RIC for 75 years of making some damn fine guitars and basses, especially the 4001's in 1973. After the dust settles maybe there will be some movement towards a V68 replacing the C64, after all, how many upside down neck basses do we really need in the world?

Mr. Hall,
Allow me to assist you with the nasty distribution issue.
The first 75 to properly suck up in this thread get fist dibs!
Let me say, you are doing a wonderful job running one of the best companies in the world. It's amazing that such a fine looking young man can be so talented. (bowing & scraping)
Okay, that should just about do it. A 4004....er, I mean a 4003 please!
Oh, could you sign the back of the TRC and through in a Rick O Sound box as well?

It's funny how even us RIC diehards can't even agree if we like it or not. It just shows that the RIC crowd IS diverse, and NOT just a one trick pony.
My local dealer is having trouble contacting RIC about the bass...We'll see...

Question: Would this color end up being made as a COY at some point? I'm just thinking back to when the Blue Boys came out overseas-Or was something different with the ones we had here in the USA?

My feeling is that most are buying it not as a player, but more as a cash cow. I could be wrong.
