Ok, so I can't spell her name! I had to google her because I really had no clue who she is. So I found out I saw her in Freaky Friday when the kids rented it. What was the point of bringing her into this?? Can she sing?

Back to the question. Can she sing? I don't know really but it is a good question. The answer is: who cares, I have already asked Sheena to see if SH is available. I really like her 350SH plus we know she can sing. I believe Aitch met her at the House of Blues and she is already famous, so she would be a perfect candidate.

Melissa - you aren't hard on the eyes, and you have a whole lot more class!! Besides, you CAN sing!

Ah. I guess i got it. Brian wants to take the guitar, and then send its owner back where she belongs... ehm, sorry.
So, if you're considering female singers, you should write a "right" song for a woman, you know... Mean, a fairly young lady singing a typical "old bluesman's" song - that might look a bit strange, methinks.

Hmm. No. I don't blame anyone. Just referring to an old and perhaps long forgotten thread. All i know is my guitar (a 650D-MC/SC, ha-ha!) is better, anyway.
Why not Bob Dylan, then? Or Ringo Starr, perhaps?..

After 26 years I finally have the technology and found the time to edit and remix "Photographs".

That re-mix will also be posted at the same time. The changes made to both songs are very apparent, assuming you heard the original versions.

Cool. So, what does a re-mix mean? Will there be something added, and if so, then what? What was done about the tracks, in general?

"Nothing Ain't Real" has undergone some minor surgery and full replacement of one prominent part.

A re-mix in this case means a rebalancing of the individual tracks throughout the song and providing the track with greater separation of each part. In general, on a good system. each instrument can be heard clearly now.

I don't fully understand all of the reasons why this would occur, but Aitch and I agree that this track begs to be played with the volume quite high. Subtle nuances of the mix then dance across the spectrum of sound and you notice them in a sort of detached way.

"Photographs" has been edited. It is shorter and it has undergone a face lift as well. A short lead part has been added and three part harmonies are now in evidence.

Given that I only had a rough mix to work with Photographs presented a real challenge, that is until I secured sufficient technology to make the changes I had always wanted to hear on that song.

I am now content that both songs are as good as they are going to get, given the limited technology that I possess and their humble beginnings.

And an excellent piece of work it is..... if I may say so!
