Actually, it's the ellipses that tilt the earth's axis too much!

Perhaps global warming is hyperbolic rhetoric?

You may not feel too warn in Denver, but here in FLA we have not had anything resembling "winter".

Well, we do have Andy Winter, but he doesn't count as a weather system! Image

My lime tree has had a problem developing ripe fruit (not enough chilly nights), and it's already blooming again before it's even done with the current crop. Some folks are reporting that their tomato plants never died from the previous growing season and are producing ripe tomatoes in January.

It all may just be due to El-Nino, but it is odd...

Hey Jeff - glad you made it. Michigan's loss is Denver's gain! Rock on, Dude!

It is getting up to 57 today and 66 tomorrow ... most of the snow is melted ... but we will get more ...

I got out to jam a couple of times with a Ric bass ... I haven't seen any ric basses in music stores so far ...

Steve, we didn't get quite that warm on this side - around 44 and slight overcast.

Jeff, how'd the jam go? Anybody impress you enough to want to hook up musically?

I have been out 3 times ... the first one was an all original band ... those kind of bands are usually a waste of time because they are usually below average song writers ... next was a jamb with a bunch of guys in a warehouse ... that was fun and an open blues jam where they loved my 4004ci 4-2-5 and loved my playing ... overall I met some really nice guys but I am still looking for the right band ...

I really fit in nice in Denver ... the climate is nice here ... it is farther south than michigan so the sun is warmer but because of the elevation it cools off more at night ... and it is drier climate as well so I may not need to do the twice a year truss rod adjustments on all of my basses ...

It takes a while to find the right band. I think my band just finally found the right drummer. I can't believe how hard it is to find a good drummer in SoCal!!! While we were at it, we found a much better singer also.
Hang in there Jeff, you'll find the right band.

"I can't believe how hard it is to find a good drummer in SoCal!!!"

I can't believe how hard it is to find a drummer in SW Mich!!! It was that way 35 years ago also....

Jeff, sounds good - things will come together for you, I'm sure.

I spent half an hour on the phone talking with a guitarist with a prog-metal band I WAS going to audition for. We were really going at it with the same influences and what we like and all that and then he asked me how long I've been playing and I told him...30 years. He got quiet and asked how OLD I was...46.(They are early 30's) Um..you're not exactly what we're looking for, but thanks for calling(he actually called ME). What a f****ed up attitude.
