Which Paul? There are three of us chiming in on this topic. If it was me, the "nope six tuners" comment was in response to I forget which one of us's comment that he thought it was a bass- I forgot to use the quote button. My other comment was that the neck looked short, as if part of the neck had been sawed off towards the upper frets. The cramped up fingers part was just my attempt at suggesting in a witty fashion that I thought the guitar had such a short scale that it might be difficult to play.

Yep, that was earlier. Everyone, JPS and all, joined us all at the steak place afterwards.

Right. Russ Rubman was on my left, mixing liquor with beer and wine. And there was lots of great jazz talk in the air from you guys across the table. I was telling you guys about seeing Brubeck and his two sons at the 1977 New Orleans Jazz Festival, over a plate of crawdads and beer just before the BB King show.

Jeff had a very fancy drink that night, equipped with an umbrella and all.
