Dave, yours may not be 100% original but it sure has the nicest grain of any other I have seen.
That says a lot on the 4002 finish. They all look stunning but the grain on yours is tops.

That wood grain is impressive.
A "Plain Jane" is rather harsh to describe any 4002 Ted, let alone a complete example as yours in such condition...
The absolutely beautiful MG at the bottom here is my fav...

I think that RickBeat pic is the first FG 4002 I've seen.
Looks really nice, but the AG's are the best looking basses around!

Dave I thought yours was all original except for the factory authorized refinish... BTW how is it holding up? Do you play it quite often putting wear on it?

Dale the pick ups are HB1’s not the originals. It holds up very well. I do play it out a fair amount but I am mucho careful with it.
