The headstock shots are very inaccurate, color-wise, unfortunately. I'm going back into the studio (photography) with a good tripod and my strobes, to see if I can do this justice.
Surf music, eh, Jeff?

Hey, maybe Paul could put in the buckle rash from the get-go and then you wouldn't have to worry!!
Beautiful backside!

Sweet! Perfect coloring, Paul!
That's my hang-up with solid colors! I really need to see the maple!

Well okay, maybe Quentin didn't turn me on to Surf music, but he did renew my interest in it.
I saw Dick Dale a couple nights ago as a matter of fact. He rocked!

Oh yeah, baby got back!
Paul, are the requests pouring in from guys that want Mink coats for their babies?! LOL
That is an amazing finish.

Jeff, DD is supposed to do the liner notes for our new album, which KICKS A**, BTW.
This isn't the old soporiphic stuff that's on our website and myspace page...it is supercharged and nitromethane-fuming!
And as soon as I can get this $#%^#$%^ Mp3 converter working, I'll post a link...

I look forward to the link.
And I'll have to snag a copy of your new album when it comes out too.

I'll do so-called "relics" when hell freezes over.

You get the idea that maybe Paul has "standards"?
{:^)
Just in case anyone missed it when I mentioned it before, I think that color is top notch!

Jeff, who'da thunk that great maple was hiding under all that white?! Love the flaming of the neck slab! The color seems to make it leap out. The body wings almost look mirrored, too.

Yeah, I don't get the relic thing either. I like the fact that you can send Paul a 34 year old bass and have it come back to you like it's just been taken out of a time machine, just as fresh as the day it left the factory, simply incredible.

I should have put a trademark on that color when I had the chance. Another chance at fame and fortune . . . .
