Today has been an absolutely awesome day. It's way past midnight here, and we have all had a tremendous day, not to mention a drink or two.

We have taken hundreds of photos, many of which we will post here in the morning.

There have been so many highlights today that it's hard to pick the best.

We've loved having Alisha with us.

On a personal note, my ten year old son, Jeremy, simply blew me away today. He played drums, picked up lead vocals, but best of all, he lead our jam session playing AC/DC's "Long Way The Top".

Guess what guitar he chose?

Sorry to break this to you, Darren, but I know that look, and I can see it in your son's eyes.

This is hard for me to say, but...well, I think your son has the beginning stages of RAS...

Great shots of your son, Darren.

I wish I was that talented at 50 +.

The Skull Bar provided an excellent venue for yesterday's jam session and confluence. We had the best turn-out yet, with seven Forumites and a number of other Rickenbacker fans.

This time the weather was kind to us, although the stage lights kept us cooking. Ron Viney wins the award for Most Time Spent on Stage! Image

I think the final count was close to 40 Rickenbacker guitars and basses. It's unlikely you would find more Rickenbackers anywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere. Image

We circulated a set list before getting together, which certainly assisted us in getting some serious playing happening.

L to R Aitch on guitar, Darren on drums, Jeremy on vocals, Ron on guitar and Alisha on bass:-

Here's Ron Viney and Frank Naccarata. I just love Frank's fashion sense with the shirt to match his Jetglo 4003, making its confluence and stage debut:-
