Brian, this one was discussed a couple of months ago...but it's entertaining nonetheless...Harry, the owner of the studio where North of Malibu records, has this video on his desktop for laughs while burning proof copies of our mixes...and we DO laugh!

That's pretty impressive. Why, he's even able to get some of that funky music just by waiving the harmonica in the air while dancing. I'm impressed!

No doubt inspired by the old trick of duct-taping a harmonica to the bumper of a car to warn deer in your path...advanced users will use a chromatic harmonica and hook up a pedal to change pitch...and you wondered how deer have been trained to freeze when they hear the soulful strains of "Peg of my Heart" played by Jerry Murad's "Harmonicats"...
And, yes, that is a harmonica (a chording harmonica) that Al Fiore (the guy on the left) is holding...
NOTE: During the Musician's nationwide strike and union ban on recording (to secure terms on royalties on recorded material). the Harmonicats had two major hits, because the harmonica was not considered a musical instrument. After the strike, they were admitted to the union.
