JDog,
I don't think it's as dependent on the origin and destination as much as the temperatures it's been subjected to in between...and for how long; which obviously depends on how it's being shipped. I always give it 24 hours. After this kind of investment (time and $) being impatient can be pretty costly....just my 2 cents.

Thanks John. It's going 3 day air UPS. So that's probably pretty cold. I'll wait at least 24 hours.
I watched a re-run of the Wednesday AM shuttle landing last night. I love that HD NASA TV channel.

I watched video of the return this morning and an interview with some guy named Dan Tina or something like that talking about floating vs. gravity. Neat.

I would have probably sprung the extra bucks for overnight service. Anyways congratulations; can't wait to see pictures.
BTW, I'm going to be over in your neck of the woods the first part of May as my niece is graduating from Lakeland's Florida Southern College. If time permits, a mini-confluence might be in order.

Aargh is right! I was expecting pictures by Tuesday...
BTW, the weather here in Daytona Beach is much nicer (warmer) than back in VA....I only wish I had been coming to the other FL coast so I could stop by.

Here's some more pics...
It's not quite done, there is still a little minor work to do like file out the regular 6 tuning machine holes so the ferrules will fit, glue the nut, and do the wiring. Oh and I had to scavenge the pickup screws off my 87 610/12. Oh well for not having the guitar when I collected the parts, that's not too bad, eh?
I only have the low E octave and one of the high E's strung up to hold the R tailpiece on. They are at pitch though, and it plays great!
